Mission Dolores
Mission Dolores, the strip along Dolores Street and bordering Dolores Park is now a vital neighborhood with a lively nightlife, popular with the tech community. Local icons include: Bi Rite, The Creamery, Delfinas, Dolores Park Cafe and Tartines.
It all started her when Father Francisco Palou chose this location to found the Mission San Francisco de Asis on June 29th, 1776.
